Further Information
A personal assistant is required to support a 16-year-old young man in the HU8 area of the City. The young man is partially sighted and has Autism. He loves to be out and about around the city and enjoys various activities such as Rock Up, Bowling, Swimming and going to the park. He would like a PA to help him access and enjoy all his favourite activities during the school holidays. He is friendly and chatty and is clearly able to express his own needs, likes and dislikes. He is mobile but makes use of a wheelchair when tired.
“Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.”
