Are you passionate about driving sustainable change and making a real-world impact? At +impact, we’re seeking a Senior Advisory Consultant to lead and be at the forefront of delivering impactful advisory services. Your expertise will shape sustainable practices in asset and facilities management, green service design and future skills development. Working closely with senior leaders in the public and regulated sectors, you’ll lead projects that drive meaningful change, directly influencing how businesses embrace sustainability and operational excellence.

+impact is a specialised advisory business within the Serco Group, dedicated to delivering purpose-driven consulting services with a strong focus on the public sector and regulated industries. As a bespoke offer and internal brand of Serco, +impact operates with the agility and innovation of a start-up while benefiting from the extensive resources, networks, and career opportunities that come with being part of a global organisation. Our mission is to lead projects that address the challenges of where and how we work, as well as how we travel, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with sustainable and socially responsible practices.

What you’ll do:

- Client engagement and advisory delivery: Lead advisory projects across public sector and regulated industries, developing strategies for sustainable asset management, green service design, and future skills development. Engage senior-level clients, providing actionable advice to address their strategic challenges.
- Project management: Oversee the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Thought leadership and strategy development: Shape +impact’s strategic direction through insights into market trends and emerging best practices. Create thought leadership content (white papers, presentations) and represent +impact at industry events to strengthen our reputation.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders, including the Business Development Manager, to align project delivery with business development goals. Ensure advisory services support +impact’s broader strategies.
- Mentorship and development: Mentor junior team members and support the creation of training programmes to upskill both internal staff and clients.

What you’ll need:

- Consultancy experience: Extensive experience in consultancy or advisory roles, focusing on sustainable asset and facilities management, sustainability, green service design, or future skills.
- Project management experience: Proven track record of delivering complex projects within the public sector or regulated industries. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organisational and project management skills.
- Skills and competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Expertise in sustainability, operational excellence, and strategic advisory services.
- Education: Degree in Environmental Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications like LEED, BREEAM, PMP are desirable).
- Sustainability: Commitment to +impact’s values of sustainability, social responsibility, and operational excellence.

What we offer:
+impact offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation. This role provides significant career development opportunities, both within the +impact team and the broader Serco Group, ensuring your long-term growth and progression.
