Summary
TA2 point 5-6 plus SEN allowance. (£22,464)
32.5 hours per week, term time only plus Training Days (Monday to Friday 8.45 to 3.15 (Tuesdays 4.15) This is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference to young people’s lives by supporting a range of students who experience barriers to learning. Classes are small allowing you to make more of impact, you will be supporting Teachers in student learning and providing pastoral care and guidance.
We want to hear from you if you are passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the learning opportunities for our children. We want you to join us is ensuring students succeed both academically and pastorally. Our ideal candidate may already have experience working in our kind of setting or have worked with young people who have SEMH difficulties.
We have 3 vacancies for Learning Support Assistants as the school is going through an exciting period of development. Our students are 11-16 years and have been excluded or are close to being excluded from mainstream school. Students are referred to us by schools and the Local Authority. Our Teaching groups are small between 2 and 8 students per class. We currently have 30 students on role.
