Summary

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Wincanton team at our Templecombe site. You will report directly to a Team Leader, working within the defence industry and will be expected to demonstrate flexibility and capability to perform all aspects of warehousing to meet all key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations. 

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance

Day to Day 

  • Packing, weighing, and labelling completed items for shipment or storage
  • General housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site 
  • Operate customer & Wincanton IT systems as required 
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately 
  • Work in a team environment    
  • Carry out operational tasks as requested in order to achieve departmental and site objectives  
  • Be available for call out work as part of an existing team 

What will you bring?

  • Attention to detail 
  • Ideally experienced and licensed in use of MHE 
  • Computer literate and can operate RF guns 
  • Good understanding/experience working with extensive warehouse management systems
