Summary

Pinnacle Group are looking for a reliable Caretaker to ensure our buildings and facilities are well-maintained and secure. You will be joining our Facilities Management team based at Moredon Primary School. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, managing repairs, ensuring security protocols are followed, and keeping the premises clean and orderly. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out minor repairs and decoration works, including plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
• Deep / Scheduled / Reactive Cleaning (when required) using cleaning materials and consumables as directed ensuring usage instructions are followed accordingly.
• Carry out investigations into reactive requests relating to deficiencies in accomodation and where necessary notifying management of the need to call a Service Provider.
• Assisting with set up & set down for leisure and sporting events including 3rd parties for privately booked spaces / pitches.
• Emergency response to situations that may arise (floods, bodily fluids etc)

Key requirements:

• Experience of cleaning services and cleaning equipment
• Have a range of general handyman / DIY skills with the ability to multi-task
• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
• Good verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate well to parties on all levels
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Please Note: For this role, confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
