Summary
We are seeking dedicated SEN Support Staff to join our team and provide essential support to SEN children in schools across the Weoley Castle area, Birmingham.
Key Skills:

- Confidence in supporting SEN children
- Familiarity with the primary school curriculum
- Flexibility across year groups or key stages
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support to SEN children within a school environment
- Assist with personal care tasks as required
- Implement PECs and phonics interventions to support learning
- Collaborate with teachers to enhance student learning and development
- Exhibit patience and compassion in all interactions with students
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience supporting SEN children
- Understanding of the primary school curriculum
- Knowledge of autism
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in Makaton
Working Conditions:
- Temporary position
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, during term time only
Additional Information:
- All applicants must hold the relevant qualifications and training for this role.
- The salary includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- This is a temporary role, with potential for a permanent position in the future.
