We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to work within the existing Admin/clinical Team in the Cardiac Service.

We are looking for an individual with a professional attitude and dedication, combined with experience in people and personnel management and data analysis.



The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of people/team management including sickness/annual leave monitoring, data analysis and reports, as well as having an understanding of operational service delivery needs.

If you are highly motivated, with knowledge and willingness to learn cardiac issues, have good computer skills and enjoy working in a busy environment then this is an ideal opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a specialist team.

The post holder will be required to support the service by prioritising patient referrals and support the inputting of data / information using RIO (Community Patient Electronic System) database and manual databases required by the service as clinical need dictates.

Working closely with the Service Clinical Lead and the Clinical Team leader, the post holder will take responsibility for the administration of the clinical workload and will supervise and support the junior administrative staff. The post holder will assist the Cardiac Service Lead in shaping the future delivery of cardiac services across Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) NHS Foundation Trust through development of administrative processes.
