Thousands of families in local communities across the sixteen Counties we serve, trust us to support them at a difficult time by taking care of all the small details that make a big difference.

The pre-paid funeral plan market is growing at a rapid pace due to product awareness and families financially planning for the future. With our strong brand and excellent product offering, we have a competitive advantage, providing the pre-paid funeral plan.

In this rewarding role, you will understand customer needs to talk them through our wide range of pre-paid funeral plan options, ensuring compliance with Financial Conduct Authority regulations.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

We’re looking for caring and talented people that strive to deliver excellent customer service. You’ll be passionate about offering our customers choice and value and making sure they are getting the right funeral plan for them, covering their needs across our range of funeral services including memorialisation, wills and probate, and legal services.

Being able to demonstrate a strong sales technique, you’ll be passionate in delivering new business and growing opportunities – taking ownership of individual funeral plan sales generated through various sources.

You'll be creative in your support of local community events – retaining, growing, and maximising all opportunities with potential customers through the introduction and management of campaigns and initiatives.

Charismatic, friendly and personable, you will comfortably and easily build relationships with new and existing customers through various forms of communication. This role will be mobile working; therefore, you’ll be required to carry out both in person meetings with customers across your trading area and using remote methods such as video and telephone calls.

Experience of working in an FCA regulated environment and/or being FCA certified would be an advantage, however this is not a requirement to apply, as successful applicants will be put through FCA certification upon an offer being made.

We are also trialing “Work flex” across our Support Centre, Funeral and Retail locations which offers colleagues the opportunity to work a compressed 4-day working week, 9-day fortnight or a mix of both. More reasons to join us at Central Co-op.
