Our staff provide a challenging, yet nurturing, environment based on our Christian values and we are committed to learning outside the classroom, as much as inside; with regular trips planned and visitors invited in to help make the learning relevant and linked to both our local community and the wider world. In May 2022 we joined Acorn Education Trust, which has provided exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on collective experience.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is committed to becoming a truly excellent teacher;
• Can teach a broad range of engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve student attainment;
• Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and students make superior progress;
• Has good knowledge and awareness of current initiatives in the EYFS Curriculum;
• Is able to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best;
• Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in the EYFS team and across the wider school community;
• Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
• Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
• Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
• Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
