About the Role:
A well-established construction company in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced and qualified Slinger/Signaller to join their team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CPCS card and be capable of safely directing cranes and other lifting equipment on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely direct and control lifting operations, ensuring proper communication with crane operators.
- Perform slinging and signalling duties in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assess loads to ensure they are secure and balanced for lifting.
- Collaborate with other site workers and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of lifting gear and report any defects.
Requirements:
- CPCS card (essential).
- Proven experience as a Slinger/Signaller in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting operations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
