Summary
Gi Group are looking for a Class 1 driver on a permanent basis in the Brackley area.
Benefits
* Plus £0.50 per hour bonus when transporting livestock
* Guaranteed weekly hours of 50 hours per week.

Full time working hours are Sunday to Thursday, rolling shift times starting at 16:00 working backwards on a weekly basis
Purpose of the role
Part of the role is to ensure security of the load and good welfare of the birds at all times and maintain communication with the transport office with regard to delays. (Full training will be provided)
Key responsibilities may include:
* Check the daily catching plan and collect livestock from several farms and deliver to the Brackley site
* Monitor bird welfare at all times and ensure the load is secure before and during transport
* Deliver refrigerated finished goods nationwide
* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including weighbridge slips and poultry transport certificates
* Provide shunting support when necessary
* Report any issues or delays at the transport office at all times
* Always wear the provided protective equipment and follow Health and Safety at all times
Requirements:
* A minimum of 6 months of Class 1 experience
* A valid CPC and Tacho Card
* No more than 6 points on your licence
* Strong understanding of driver regulations
* Flexibility to meet business demands and a positive attitude
