We are recruiting for a Senior Housing Worker, to work within our embedded team across Oxfordshire Mental Health and Oxford University Hospitals.
The impact you will have
Sometimes people need a little support to access the correct services to help them get back on their feet.
This is where you come in, working with people within Oxfordshire hospitals, you will help to connect people to friends and family where applicable, local housing options, benefit services, and other resources to enable people to move into suitable accommodation.
Working, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00.
Salary: £26,649 – £ 30,396 per annum, depending on experience.
Closing date, Wednesday 9th October. Interviews will take place week commencing 14th October.

What we need from you.
Experience of working within the homeless, housing or mental health sector or at minimum having knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act. You might not have worked in these exact environments but if you have worked in similar places, we welcome your application.
It would be great if you had knowledge of housing options available, and experience with the benefits and housing application process. This knowledge may come from your own personal experience or professionally. Either way we will provide full training.
This role will require you to work with other staff within the hospital wards and can be extremely busy. It is essential that you are comfortable working within this type of environment.
Part of the role will also include recording information accurately, so a basic level of IT skills will be essential, i.e. responding to and writing emails, typing notes etc. Full training will be given on our internal systems.
