Summary

We are recruiting 2 Estate Management officers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 hours Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time
Location: Penallta House, working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Housing Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £33,024 - £35,745 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The role of Estate Management Officer is to assist the Area/Neighbourhood housing Manager in the delivery of a comprehensive decentralised Housing Service. You will work with tenants to sustain their tenancies and be the main point of contact for our tenants. It’s essential that you build excellent relationships with tenants, residents, internal and external partners.



You will be responsible for the day-to-day housing management function of a patch or district which includes Council owned properties, providing an efficient and effective housing service to Council tenants, applicants and residents within the local communities.



For the role, we ask that you have:

A Level 4 Housing qualification or an equivalent level of housing or relevant related qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework. For example HNC in Housing.
The ability to work under pressure within defined policies and procedures, organise and prioritise workload, meet tight timescales and make sound decisions quickly.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for social, domestic and work purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit clients at their home and attend meetings.
