Summary
A small, busy office based in Bearsden specialising in booking individual self drive holidays in Scotland on behalf of overseas tour operators and travel agents (rather than a public travel agency).
Full time preferred, reduced hours or part time could also be possible.
The job is very much e-mail focused replying to bookings and enquiries, booking accommodation and other travel-related services, quoting for holiday itineraries, getting to know our supplier choices and preparation of client documents through entering the relevant information in our booking system (with training).
Essential;
Accuracy, attention to detail, good written communication skills including spelling and grammar, clear telephone voice, customer focused, basic computer skills and happy to work as part of a small team.
Helpful (or learn);
Typing skills very useful and some familiarity with Word/Excel.
Some knowledge of the geography of Scotland and where tourists might want to visit would be helpful.
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week) (or as agreed).
Salary around £24,000 pa full time (or pro-rata for part time).
20 days annual leave plus public holidays.
