TEACHER OF SCIENCE – FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS CONSIDERED

Due to the continued growth of the college, we are looking to recruit a Science Teacher with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with learners. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department for this curriculum area, and will be responsible for the planning, development and successful delivery of teaching and learning within the department. Applicants must have a degree in the specific subject or related area, a teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience either in post or as a trainee / student teacher.

You will be teaching within our very successful Science and Engineering department, contributing to any of a combination of the disciplines offered at A level Science - Chemistry, Biology, Physics and/or Applied Science and Engineering. For the right candidate there may also be opportunities to contribute to our other curriculum areas.

Salary for the post will be on the Sixth Form College teachers’ pay scale, depending on qualification and experience, within the range NSP 1 £30,500 to NSP 9 £47,133 FTE per annum. We offer a supportive working environment allowing the opportunity for continual or further development.
