About the role

We are currently seeking and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Duty Manager at our Beverley campus. The role sits within the Health and Safety team, reporting to the Group Head of Health and Safety.

The successful candidate will assist with the management of day-to-day issues relating to learner behaviour and pastoral support, estate and security issues or matters relating to general health and safety. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that supports the organisation in providing an outstanding learning experience.

If you have experience of working in education, security, or customer service type role, and hold a clean current driving licence, you may be the person we’re looking for.

About the person

The ideal candidate should have experience:

Working in a customer/people focused environment.
Managerial/supervisory experience
Managing challenging behaviour (Preferably in an educational setting)
Working in an educational environment
The use of de-escalation, team teach or pause strategies.
Organisation, Administration, and IT

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the willingness to develop yourself and other. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively under pressure and build positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
