Summary
The Curly Wurly Gang are looking for an exceptional assistant to replace one of my fabulous assistants who has reluctantly had to leave due to ill health (but really did not want to!!).
Have you got loads of energy and passion to deliver high-level childcare that you are literally bursting at the seams with fun/educational ideas?
Are you looking for a change and like the idea of being part of a smaller ‘mad as hatters’ team, who love spontaneity and making fools of themselves? No day is ever really the same here - we never want ourselves to be bored, let alone the children.
Do you love mud & sand, getting wet, messing about with shaving foam, mixing potions & conducting fun experiments, preparing cooking delights and having a dance or a jig?
Curly Wurly Childcare is an Ofsted Outstanding setting, offering childcare 4 days a week from my home all year round between the hours of 8am to 5.30pm. We are based in Hordle, SO41 and have a large, dedicated playroom with access to our garden.
We offer childcare for young babies up to rising 5’s.
Our ethos is fun fun fun – every day – as we really don’t want to be bored. Our days are rarely ever the same or mundane and we love to do something spontaneous. We really enjoy going ‘out n about’ most mornings to explore our wonderful local community – we have the New Forest on our doorstep, as well as only being 10mins from many beaches and regularly visit an array of local playparks throughout the year.
You will need to have lots of energy, not only for delivering outstanding childcare but physical energy will be needed to get children in/out car seats and travel cots – 10k steps per day are easy peasy!!!
We definitely work hard but play even harder…………. You will need to be physically able/fit as it is hard work.
The post is part-time over the 4 days - either doing a morning shift (08.30 - 13.30) or afternoon shift (13.30 - 17.00) incl School Holidays.
We would love you to have an NVQ 3 in childcare, or equivalent, but life experience/other relevant experience could be just as good in our opinion. A full UK driving license may be advantageous.
