Summary
To be responsible for the development and co-ordination of the therapy timetable of psychological/ systemic and other therapy services within the Intensive Day Service, including some line management supervisionTo represent psychological/ systemic therapists within the CYP-ED MDT and wider HPFT services.To support the CYP-ED Intensive Day Service MDT as necessary as a senior member of CYP-ED Intensive Day Service multi-disciplinary team and provide specialist assessment and treatment of children and adolescents and their families and carers to a high level of expertise and based upon sound psychological/systemic principles and techniques.To ensure the systematic provision of a highly specialist clinical psychology/ family and systemic psychotherapy service for children, young people and their families in relation to eating disorders and co-morbid diagnoses within a CPA model.To offer highly specialised advice and consultation with regard to psychological care of young people and their families/carers to non-psychologist/ systemic MDT colleagues, professionals from other agencies and to other non-professional carers. To be responsible for the continued development of the Specialist Psychology/ Family and Systemic Psychotherapy resources within the CYP-ED Intensive Day Service as agreed with the Service Manager and Consultant Psychologist/ Consultant Family & Systemic Psychotherapist.To provide clinical and professional supervision to less experienced Practitioner Psychologists/ Family & Systemic Psychotherapists, Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/ Trainee Family & Systemic Psychotherapists within the CYP-ED Intensive Day Service as agreed with the operational manager and Professional/Consultant Leads.To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research.To propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the team/service.All staff should comply with the Trusts Anti-Discriminatory Statement, Employee Charter, Trust Policies and Procedures, Codes of Conduct and Equality and Diversity.
