The Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We have an exciting opening for an enthusiastic Programmer and Producer to join our small Theatre and Performance department.
The role will support the co-Heads of Theatres to deliver the Theatres & Performance programme at The Lowry and offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in planning and coordinating a rich and diverse programme of visiting companies and community relationships across the theatres. The role offers huge variety, with the successful candidate responsible for supporting the growth and diversification of audiences, acting as lead for creative cross-organisational projects and taking an active role in the support of The Lowry’s artist development programme as well as many other tasks.
The successful candidate will have experience as a Programmer and Producer including a strong understanding of the theatre-making or production process as well as the ability to demonstrate negotiation and budget management skills.
