The position of Class 2 Driver involves:
- Delivering bakery products on behalf of customers from our Southampton Depot.
- You will be delivering to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across the South of England.
- Loading/unloading of vehicles.
- Dealing with customers face to face at delivery points and managing our customers' delivery expectations.
- A flexible approach is required as the job will involve early starts as well as tail-lift use and the manual handling of bread deliveries.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 2 Driver:
- Must have a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

- Salary for Class 2 Driver between £37,115pa - £42,528pa AND MORE! Depending on hours worked. Working a minimum 48 hours per week based on a 25-week rolling rota including weekends.
- Start time between 01:00hrs and 03:30hrs, finish time between 11:00hrs and 13:00hrs.
- For all shifts starting between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £7.50 per shift.
