Kaleidoscope is a unique service, coproduced with the parents of the people we support, to deliver bespoke and meaningful day time services. Every person we support will have profound and multiple learning disabilities meaning that they are reliant on a well-trained and skilled staff team to make their days at the service enjoyable, meaningful and comfortable, An important part of the manager role is to manage high quality service delivery to meet the needs of both the people we support and the staff team through the ethos and values of Praxis Care. The ability to manage and lead a staff team, be resilient, to communicate effectively using a variety of communication tools is essential along with up to date clinical skills to meet complex needs. This is a job share role, working alongside another experienced manager.

Where You Would Work: Kaleidoscope, Leicester

Kaleidoscope has been established to provide a unique and bespoke service for adults aged 18+ with profound and multiple learning disabilities, (PMLD) who do not present aggressive challenging behaviours, but typically;

Require the use of a wheelchair and/or other physical support and mobility aids
Are non-verbal or have severely impaired communication abilities
Require highly specialised management for physical disabilities, sensory impairments and/or complex health and medical needs
