Summary
We are looking for a skilled Component Finisher to join our client in Weymouth. This role is essential in ensuring the finishing and inspection of aerospace components meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with air and hand tools, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and proficiency in using measuring equipment.
Responsibilities of a component Finisher:
- Perform finishing and inspection tasks according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate hand and air tools to complete finishing tasks efficiently.
- Use precision measuring tools to verify components meet required quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Qualifications for a component finisher:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experienced in using air and hand tools in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
- Skilled in the use of measuring equipment with the ability to perform accurate measurements.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Aerospace industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
