Summary

A welcoming and vibrant primary school in Brent (NW2) is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time on a long-term basis. This rewarding opportunity is available immediately.

Job Description
In this role, you will provide tailored 1:1 support for a delightful Year 3 pupil with Autism, helping them thrive both academically and personally. As the successful SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate closely with the class teacher to develop strategies that meet the pupil’s specific needs. Additionally, you will track and document the pupil’s progress, celebrating each achievement along the way.
Working as part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, you will also play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in the school.

To excel in this role, you will need:
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience supporting children with Autism
• Strong behaviour management skills

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
o Eligibility to work in the UK
