Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.

You will have:

• Possess a City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 or NVQ catering equivalent (Level 1 and 2).
• Experience of preparing, cooking and serving food for large numbers, including the ability to scale recipes up and down to suit varying numbers.
• Experience of ordering commodities, completing food costings, stock control, daily cash reconciliation and general kitchen administration duties.
• The ability to work unsupervised to produce nutritious, economical, well-presented meals of good quality.
• The ability to use general catering equipment safely and correctly.

Eden Girls’ School, Slough is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for 11 to 18 year old girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none.
