Summary
We're currently recruiting for a Graduate Scientist to join a Global Material Manufacturer based in Leicestershire. This is a contract role, initially lasting 6 months with the potential to get extended, starting ASAP, with a competitive salary.
Company:
This company has an excellent fire testing laboratory, who focus on ensuring safety within construction. Everyday will be different and you'll be pushing the boundaries within this sector.
The Role:
- Conduct fire testing activities
- Follow H&S procedures in a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Get involved with test activities, setup and cleanup
- These tests are practical and physical, using different lifting equipment
- Undertake various duties as required by your line manager or the management team
Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent) in experimental discipline - chemistry, materials science, etc.
- Happy in hands on testing role and a problem solver
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
