At Whittlebury Park, we are looking for hardworking team players to join our busy Housekeeping Department. Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. We have award-winning facilities including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant and a luxurious spa.

What will you do?
As a member of our housekeeping team, your duties may vary and can include:
being responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel.
Checking linen deliveries against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor
Collecting, checking, and storing housekeeping department deliveries.
Properly storing linen in the linen rooms and sorting used linen into separate cages.
Collecting used room service trays, glasses, and bottles from corridors
Providing a high standard of service to all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Delivering and setting up extra beds/cots as instructed and reporting all lost property items following company procedures
Cleaning and maintaining high standards in all public and staff areas daily, ensuring guest requests are carried out promptly and pleasantly.
Swiftly moving between different locations to complete tasks efficiently.
Being flexible in your duties, including the upkeep and cleanliness of guest bedrooms.
Ensuring all keys and radios are signed in and out daily.
Reporting and safeguarding all lost property items, ensuring they are handed in following company procedures, and reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items.
The hours of work may vary and can include weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.
