Summary
Role Requirements and General Responsibilities The successful candidate is expected to: Provide direct clinical care to patients across Queens and King Georges Hospitals Complete consultant ward rounds Provide face to face and telephone advice to the CNS team, doctors and other healthcare professionals Participate in MDT Meetings Provide clinical supervision to registrars, specialty doctors and non-medical prescribers on the team Contribute to multidisciplinary teaching and local education programmes Participate in audit and quality improvement work Attend and participate in local palliative care network meetings and strategic planning Cover the on-call rota every 1 in 5 weeks, Category B Please see the Job description for further details Person Specification Qualifications Essential criteria Full Registration with the General Medical Council MRCP, MRCGP, FRCA or equivalent qualification Be on the specialist register for Palliative Medicine or be within six months of entry at the time of interview Desirable criteria Masters degree or other higher degree in a relevant subject Post graduate teaching diploma or similar Once you understand the requirements outlined in the job description, please ensure your application accurately reflects where you match them.
