Summary
We\\'re looking for a dedicated full-time 40 hour Catering Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for National Railway Museum. As a Catering Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a supportive environment. Purpose of the role:
- Basic food preparation, counter set up and serving of food and beverages
- Ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered to clients and customers
- Demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
- Ensuring correct storage of food items and equipment after service
- Take a flexible approach to work and always demonstrate the great behaviours to colleagues, customers and clients.
- Complying with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
- Complete regular day to day activities as required to ensure a smooth operation.
Who you are:
- A good communicator, able to confidently liaise with customers and colleagues
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Committed to high levels of customer care
- Able to undertake a range of manual cleaning duties
- An enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in a catering environment
- Positive and take pride in their work
- Previous experience in catering or customer service is advantageous
