Summary
We have an opportunity available to join our Format and Development Team as a field based Format & Development Merchandiser. You will be responsible for delivering the new store and refit program for Budgens, Londis, Premier and Family shopper in the south and midlands. This is a full time role working 38 hours per week over 5 days.
This is a regional role predominantly covering the south and midlands and due to the nature of the role travel is required. A car allowance is available, where applicable. More details about this can be discussed at interview.
- Organising and attending site meetings at stores along with Retail Development Managers (RDM), shop fitters and signage companies to discuss scope of works and brand expectations.
- Taking ownership and being the point of contact for the project, liaising between the retailer, RDM, shop fitter and signage company.
- Articulate layout changes that might be required before the project starts or during the project to ensure the merchandising team have a fully accurate plan to work from.
- Work alongside RDMs, Planners and Merchandisers to ensure stores are following brand guidelines.
- Managing shopfitters on site to ensure specifications are being followed and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Review and ordering equipment based on brand and site requirements.
- Ensure imagery and POS is fit for purpose and within current promotions / brand guidelines.
- You will need to be prepared to travel as the role does involve many site visits across the South and Midlands
- Previous project management or store development experience.
- Expert working knowledge of all our brands including Premier, Budgens, Londis and Family Shopper.
- High level communication skills to be able to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good IT skills
