Grade: Grade 2, SP3 NJC Support Staff pay scales (Outer London)Job RequirementsWe are looking for a Receptionist to work in Chipstead Valley Primary School, a large three-form entry school situated in Coulsdon, and part of the wider PACE Academy Trust. As a receptionist, you will be part of a friendly team working in our busy school office, liaising with parents, children and staff. You will be the welcoming face of Chipstead Valley Primary school and will provide a positive first impression to all visitors, students and staff members. You will need to be adaptable and confident with good spoken and written communication skills, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Job Requirements:
Friendly disposition, with professional manner aligned to different audiences (visitors/staff/pupils)Experience of using a wide variety of IT packages to perform a range of administrative tasksPrevious school office experience and knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage but is not essentialPrevious experience of working in a busy office is essentialThe successful applicant will be able to: Provide a warm and confident welcome to pupils, parents and visitorsBe adaptable, flexible and have the ability to stay calm under pressureConfidently manage multiple tasks, coping with competing priorities in a busy working environmentBe confident in both written and oral communications with an excellent telephone mannerBe willing to learn and develop, grasping new systems and procedures quickly and efficiently.Find out more about this exciting opportunity by visiting our career page and school website.
