We have an opportunity to join our amazing team of staff at Lansdown Park Academy. Lansdown Park Academy is a Pupil Referral Unit / Early Intervention Base in South Bristol. We work with pupils whose Primary need is often SEMH supporting and guiding them with their next steps in education. You will receive full ongoing training in this role and will be joining a friendly and supportive team with the benefit of also working term time only. What we are looking for We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join us. We will invest in the successful candidate and ensure that they receive the training and opportunities required for the role. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in the educational, personal and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of relevant colleagues (e.g. the Principal, SENCo and/or phase leaders and class teachers), support students by adopting relevant strategies and techniques to enable them to access the curriculum, engage with their learning and achieve their full potential. You will take responsibility for implementing planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to students’ responses as appropriate and deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as social and emotional well-being.
