Graduate Programme;



During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.



We are looking for a graduate to embed themselves into the ERF Operations team and gain a deep understanding of the process of turning waste into electricity. A big part of the role will be problem-solving, analysing and optimising performance in an industrial environment; which will eventually lead to operating a facility.



We're strong believers in continuous development here at Veolia and actively encourage and support everyone to keep going after you finish the programme.



What you'll be doing;

  • Master the plant operation
  • Analyse plant performance
  • Conduct desk studies for potential plant modifications
  • Development of operational procedures and processes
  • Help the site move towards a paperless environment
  • Lead and support with projects to help drive a successful operation; such as managing the installation and replacement of plant items



What we're looking for;

  • Degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline e.g. Process/Mechanical/ Chemical/Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Physics or Chemistry
  • A problem-solving mindset
  • Someone who is hands-on and has some work experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual
  • Ability to work well with others
