Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the educational, personal, and social development of students, helping them access the curriculum, engage with their learning, and reach their full potential.
This role may involve working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.
Patience is essential, as you may encounter challenging behaviour.
While previous experience with SEN is advantageous, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials
- Set up and tidy classrooms for lessons
- Support students to ensure they understand tasks
- Observe, record, and report student progress
- Provide support to children who need additional assistance
- Offer 1-to-1 support for individual students
- Lead small groups or classes under teacher guidance
