Summary
Job Purpose: To work closely with Band 7 SLTs and SLT/ Dietetic manager to ensure safe and effective SLT services within Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust To act as an advanced level SLT in own specialist area To be the professional clinical lead for Speech and Language Therapy in Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust. Job Summary: The post holder will provide Trust wide professional and clinical leadership for Speech and Language Therapy. The post holder will be responsible for the production and implementation of all Trust policies and clinical guidelines for the delivery of a Speech and Language Therapy service in conjunction with the service manager. The post holder is responsible for ensuring safe and effective Speech and Language Therapy services across sites in conjunction with the service manager. The post holder will be responsible for an effective evidence based service and will provide clinical and professional guidance regarding all Speech and Language Therapy issues. The post holder will manage a clinical caseload within a specialised area (Head and Neck).
