Summary

Somerset Community Credit Union are a Not for Profit organisation that offers affordable loans and savings accounts for people in Somerset and North Somerset. We are mainly a volunteer organisation but are looking for an Admin Assistant for our Taunton Office with initial training in our Bridgwater office.
Hours are flexible but ideally 0915 to 1215 Monday to Friday (15 hour contract) but we would consider less hours/less days but please note this in your application. There would be a requirement of one evening per month for attendance at Board meeting.
£12 per hour + Pension and Holiday benefits

JOB PURPOSE – To run the Taunton office efficiently and in a professional manner and travel to our Bridgwater Office when required. Maintain systems and records, be the welcoming face to the Credit Union in person, by mail and online. Support members, volunteers and the Board.
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
Good standard of English and Maths
Excellent Communication skills
Computer skills – Able to use Excel, Word, email
Own car and able to travel to our Bridgwater office when needed – expenses paid.
To be able to work independently when trained.
Desirable
Previous experience with a financial company or as an Administrator in another field
Understanding Health and Safety in an office environment
