Summary

Role: Clinical Administrator / Dispenser

Location: Perivale (UB6) OR Leeds (LS15) (with hybrid working after completion of training)

Salary: £12.04 per hour for trainees, £12.70 per hour for NVQ2 qualified plus extensive benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm

We are seeking UK qualified dispensary assistants (preferably NVQ2) to assist the clinical team and help us build the future of medication supply and adherence.

What you’ll be doing?

Actioning prescription claiming tasks via the issue platform to ensure NHSBSA payment can be claimed

Working with our clinical team to answer queries and ensuring clear communications and escalations as required

Contacting surgeries regarding prescription queries and ensure these are handled in a logical and efficient manner

Accurately matching patient orders with prescriptions issued by surgeries and reminding patients to take their medication at the correct time and dose

Resolving escalated clinical queries from the patient care team

Ensuring repeat dispensing requests are filled and ready to be processed by our dispensary team

Ensuring all hourly KPI’s are met and are within legal, ethical, professional and company requirements

Providing support and training material to our patient care team, and in office tasks such as processing green prescriptions, processing mail, completing FP57 forms and endorsing

Who are we looking for?

UK dispensing qualification at NVQ 2 level is highly desirable

A background of dispensing prescriptions in an English community pharmacy and experience of working within company and ethical rules and regulations

A good understanding of the NHS prescription system

IT literate with intermediate excel

Able to prioritise and organise workload

Numerate and can work accurately even when under pressure

A good team player who pro-actively helps fellow team members when they are busier

Demonstrates a patient first approach at all times and strives to exceed patient expectations
