Hours: 37 Hours per week (Full-Time)

As a Community Speed Coordinator, the successful candidate will work in the community speed watch team and will deliver an effective and professional Humber-wide service to partners and local communities, by the coordination of all community speed watch schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing and co-ordinating a group incorporating representatives from various organisations to deliver Community Speed Watch initiatives.
Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Community Speed Watch through community engagement to establish new schemes, the delivery of training to volunteers, maintaining existing schemes and managing the administration of such within the Humberside Police area.
Maintain personal responsibility for collection, recording, evaluation, information sharing, review, retention and disposal of information in compliance with codes of practice and Guidance in the Management of Information, information security policy, procedures and legislation.
Train volunteers on the use of the equipment, and risk assessment of sites.
Developing effective partnerships/relationships with outside agencies.
Organise, host and present quarterly meetings to a wide audience, including CSW team coordinators through the appointment of a working group to develop best practice, keep teams informed of changes to procedure and improve communication.

What the role requires:
Excellent communication skills
The post holder must be flexible to work outside of normal hours as and when necessary.
Hold a full clean UK driving license.
Has a L4 training qualification or willing to work towards one.
Has experience of planning and implementing marketing/promotional campaigns.
Can plan and conduct activities in an orderly and well-structured way.
Carries out tasks in an accurate and methodical manner with an eye for detail.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to prioritise workload.
