An exciting opportunity to work in our Performance Team has become available, we are looking for someone who is passionate about innovation, collaboration and improving the way we work with data.

About the Role


This is currently a 1-year temporary role and is a great opportunity to gain experience working with large data across the Councils corporate landscape.


Bexley Council is in an exciting position, centralising data in our newly formed data warehouse, we are looking for the right individuals to help support in moving data from various system including Liquid Logic, Controcc and all other systems. You will be using SQL and making API calls using PySpark and Apache Airflow to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) our data into a useable format.


Using a range of business intelligence, statistical analysis and visualisation tools (i.e., Excel, Power BI) you will make data accessible for the development of actionable insights and present data to a wide-ranging audience.


You’ll present insightful and collaborative reports that explain these findings to senior leaders and build a shared understanding of our most pressing challenges.


You’ll find out what’s happening, look for trends, ask questions and be creative.



We’re currently working from home most of the time, but usually, we work part of our time in the office and part from home. Our modern office is in Bexleyheath, close to parking, stations and the A2.
