Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Required as soon as possible.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active individual to assist manage our Library and Information Resources Centre. The ability to act independently and establish positive relationships with young people is essential. Our Library is a central part of the school and promoting a love of reading and developing reading and research skills is paramount to ensuring student progress. The person appointed would be expected to support learning in our lunch time and after school study club, and manage library resources and engage students in a reading rich curriculum. (IT skills are essential).

The school prides itself on proving quality professional development for all staff.

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 13:30 to 17:00

Friday from 13:30 to 16:30

17 hours per week, term time only + 3 training days

Salary: Scale 5 Point 9 £10,052.01 per annum (actual gross salary).

Progression is based on an annual performance review.
