Summary
Our client, one of the UKs largest manufacturers of towbars and towing accessories based in Atherstone requires a Day Shift Press Brake Operator in their industry leading Sheet Steel Division . Possibility of a permanent position following the successful completion of a trial period. Duties include operating industry leading Bystronic Xpert presss ranging from 40 tonne to 200 tonne machines. High quality laser cut parts varying from 1mm to 15mm will be folded into safety critical parts that when passed through our extensive quality control form a world class product.
Qualifications / Experience required Have general operating skills of press brakes which will include setting, adjusting and the processing of parts. Have experience in the reading of engineers/product design drawings. Have high working standards with a keen eye for the smaller details. Have high organisation and communication skills. Be proactive. Be flexible regarding shifts start / finish times and overtime. Our client offers: Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm & Friday 8am to 12:15pm 40 hours per week £13.00 per hour 30min paid lunch 30min unpaid breaks split into two 15mins. Uniform provided after completion of probationary period. Overtime available Free tea and coffee available in a modern fully equipped canteen (kettles, toasters, microwaves, toastie makers). Full and extensive training will be offered to the successful candidate. Full uniform that is replaced every 12 months as standard after a 3-month probationary period.
