Moorland Primary School is situated in the heart of Splott. It is a friendly, diverse and welcoming primary school with a strong community spirit. The school has two resource bases for children with complex learning needs. Each base has capacity for 10 children who are supported by a class teacher and two teaching assistants. We are seeking a new teaching assistant to work primarily in our resource base for older children.
We are looking for someone with recent and relevant experience of working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs. We are seeking a highly motivated teaching assistant who is committed to supporting the whole child. We would like them to have a sense of fun and be up for the challenge of joining a supportive team. Good literacy and numeracy skills and a strong understanding of child development will be essential to the post.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
