TeacherActive is currently looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a specialist SEMH secondary school in Chipping Norton, Oxford. This school focuses on providing holistic education to students who require additional emotional and behavioural support. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and meaningful English lessons that cater to individual learning needs and help students develop confidence in their abilities.
The successful English Teacher will have:
• Strong subject knowledge in English, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Experience working with students with SEMH needs and the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
• A passion for helping vulnerable students succeed academically and personally
• Excellent communication skills and classroom management abilities
• Flexibility and resilience to work in a dynamic, sometimes challenging environment
