Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in breast. We are looking to appoint dynamic, motivated, and experienced Advanced Practitioner mammographers, to train as Clinical Experts in breast imaging. You will be expected to deliver high level, clinical care in radiology, demonstrating Advanced Clinical competencies and a knowledge base beyond those associated with specialist radiographic roles.
This is a training role with eventual progression from your current Band 7 post, to 8a through to Band 8b on completion of MSc in Advanced Medical Imaging. This will include compulsory MSc modules in Breast US, Image Interpretation, and Interventional Procedures, if not already achieved. A dissertation project will complete your MSc. Other recommended courses include breast examination and tomosyntheses . Once qualified you will be competent and confident to work independently in one stop breast clinics providing a complete patient breast imaging service .
