Summary

Job Advert

At the Advanced level you will be providing teacher and pupil support to enhance pupil achievement. As required at core level, you will also undertake a wide range of whole school support activities and pupil support with regards to the general supervision, safety, care and well being of the pupils. You will also be required to carry out Administrative tasks from time to time.

Good communication, organisational and ICT skills are required and you should enjoy working as part of a team and with challenging and vulnerable young people. You should have some experience of working with teenage young people, ideally in an educational setting. Successful candidates must be capable of undertaking training in Manual Handling and First Aid.

You will be working in the Additional Support Centre as part of a team of staff supporting pupils with ASD or other social and communication difficulties. You will be supporting children in classes, in small groups or 1:1 as appropriate.

You will work 27.5 hours per week on a term time basis.

This post is temporary until June 2025 due to service requirement.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
