This is an exciting opportunity to join our pavements security team as a security support officer.

The ideal candidate should have recent relevant experience in the security industry alongside demonstrating excellent customer service skills as this is very much an ambassadorial role, supporting visitors and tenants within the Pavements Shopping Centre.

This role can be quite challenging, therefore, a calm, firm and professional manner is required at all times and experience in conflict resolution is essential. The successful candidate must hold an SIA Door Supervisor Licence and be capable of attaining the SIA CCTV public space surveillance accreditation within three months of being appointed, if they are not already accredited. A first aid qualification is also desirable, or the ability to achieve this.

The centre operates a 24-hour service, as such, the candidate will be expected to be able to fulfil a rota covering three shifts over a 24-hour period.

The Pavements Centre is a major retail partner for the town centre and the security support officer role is crucial in maintaining a safe and welcoming shopping environment to support the tenants and Pavements brand.

If you have the enthusiasm, drive, and experience we would love to hear from you!
