Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Coordinator to join our team in the WCR4 area. As an SEN Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support and resources they require to thrive. This position demands a dynamic individual who can develop and implement effective strategies tailored to meet individual student needs. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, support staff, and external agencies to create an inclusive learning environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing personalized educational plans (PEPs), communicating effectively with all stakeholders involved, and monitoring progress to achieve the best educational outcomes for our students. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school to ensure high standards of teaching and learning for all SEN students.
Conduct assessments to identify students' special educational needs and monitor their progress regularly.
Develop, implement, and review personalized educational plans (PEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
Provide training and support to classroom staff regarding best practices in inclusive education.
Work closely with external agencies and professionals to coordinate additional support for students with SEN.
Facilitate communication between parents, staff, and external agencies to maintain strong partnerships.
Monitor and track the effectiveness of SEN programs and interventions, providing reports to school leadership.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SEN qualifications or training.
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs in an educational setting.
Deep knowledge of relevant SEN legislation, educational frameworks, and best practices.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and support staff.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and external agencies.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on new trends in special education.

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Rate: £215.13
