Summary
SEN Teaching Assistant - Liverpool - September 2024
We need a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a rewarding role in a primary school setting in the Liverpool area.
This OFSTED 'Good' rated school is looking for an individual to join their team starting September 2024.
Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Your duties will include covering classes in the absence of teachers, and leading small and large group interventions.
The ideal candidate will hold a SEN Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and have a minimum of 12 weeks' experience working with children in a school environment.
While current Safeguarding training is preferred, it is not essential as some training will be provided.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
- SEN Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a UK school setting.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year is desirable but not essential (training will be provided if needed).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
- Two professional child-related references.
