£40,170 - £48,357per annum
(Salary placement will be dependent upon Qualifications and Experience)
Glenrothes Campus (travel may be required within Fife)
16.75 hours per week (11 hours teaching)
Temporary until 2 July 2025

As part of the Construction Team you will support students in the achievement of their learning goals through providing an appropriate, effective and engaging learning experience. You will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the curricular area, assisting team members and the Academic and Quality Manager in recruiting students and evaluating learning and teaching within the department. Support the achievement of the operational and strategic objectives set out in the College Regional Outcome Agreement.

You will be part of a dynamic and forward focused team delivering architectural technology-based units within the area of Construction Craft and Low Carbon Transitions.

You must be qualified to SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area or hold the highest-level qualification in the relevant discipline to the subject area being taught. In addition, you must have relevant current academic experience or have demonstrable experience and practiced skills following vocational qualification.
Experience in using AutoCad Revit and Adobe Photoshop software is essential for the role. Knowledge of Green Technologies, Retrofit and PAS 2035 would also be advantageous.

The ideal candidate should have the skills and knowledge to deliver training over a broad range; from workshop skills at SCQF Level 5 up to theory-based units at SCQL Level 8. A knowledge of project-based delivery and/or NextGen HN would be advantageous for the role.

Effective communication, organisation and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have the ability to inspire, encourage and motivate others together with the desire to make a real difference to our students.
