Summary
We are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at our busy car sales site in Workington, Cumbria.
The successful applicant will be carrying out services, sales prep and repairs on our sales vehicles. A minimum of Level 3 qualification with several years additional experience are essential.
We are an independant, family run garage and would like to hear from those who either wish to work full time or on a part time/flexible hours basis, we don't open Saturdays or late nights and a competitive salary is available for the right candidate.
Job description:
Previous experience of motor vehicle servicing and how to perform repair and maintenance tasks including timing belts.
Verbal communication skills for explaining vehicle work to customers in accessible terms and discussing vehicle cases with other team members.
Diagnostic and problem-solving skills for determining vehicle problems and how to resolve them.
Competency using diagnostic equipment.
Full driving licence essential
