Salary*: £16.43 - £18.09 per hour / £29,992.20 - £33,021.70 pro rata per annum
Contract: Permanent
Qualifications: SVQ 3 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You can earn whilst you learn!
Training: All training is provided.
Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you! SSSC registered.


The Role


An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join the friendly, dynamic and service user focussed team in Upper Deanfield. This is a reablement service situated within Deanfield residential Home.
Upper Deanfield is a 12 bed reablement unit which patients coming from Hospital can be supported to regain ADL skills and confidence and asses for POC to return home. You will have responsibility for assessing care needs, developing support plans and monitoring care delivery in one of the three Units and, for the supervision of staff working in that unit. Alongside Lower Deanfield Assistant Managers, you will support the Manager in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to service users who are being assessed for appropriate packages of care. You will be responsible for the day to day running of Upper Deanfield when on duty including the management of care delivery and staff, dealing with visiting professionals e.g. GPs, District Nursing, Allied Health Professionals and liaising with family members as required.
